Schweden, Sommer 2008: Sonnenuntergang in Sölje, von Söpple aus gesehen, mit Blick auf die Stora Ö (große Insel im Stora Lessjö). Manchmal flammen in der Erinnerung Bilder wieder auf. Und Geräusche oder die Erinnerung an einen sanften Wind, der vom See her weht. Wir haben oft einen Abendspaziergang oberhalb des Sees durch Söpple gemacht. Der Weiler ist so verträumt, dass er an Bullerbü erinnert.

And noises or the remembrance of a breeze coming from the lake. We often did a walk in the evening, to Söpple that is situated above the lake. That little viallge is very dreamy, it reminds you of Bullerby.

Schweden, Sommer 2002, Dalsland:  Kanalvilla in Åmål. In der Nähe der Stadt wurde der Film Ronja Räubertochter nach dem Buch von Astrid Lindgren gedreht.

Schweden, Sommer 2001: Einkaufsstraße in Sigtuna bei Stockholm. Europa ist in Unruhe, es kommen so viele Flüchtlinge, die Ruhe und Frieden suchen und hoffentlich finden. Dabei sollten wir alle mithelfen. Deshalb gibt es heute ein Foto von einem kleinen Stückchen heiler Welt, als ob die Zeit vor Jahrzehnten stehen geblieben ist.

We all should help to achieve that. Therefore the photo of today is one of a world at peace, like going back decades.

Sommer 2011, Emsland, im Ort Düthe: sehr spezielle Treckergarage. Der Rest des Hauses wurde auch noch abgerissen.

Sommer 2012, Emsland. Kühlturm des alten Gaskraftwerks Meppen, von Haren aus gesehen, ungefähr 10 km Entfernung. Die Weltkarte auf diesem Kühlturm ist die größte Weltkarte der Welt.

Sommer 2012: Walchum im Emsland, Bauerngarten neben dem Bürgerhaus. Der Blick hinter dem Bauerngarten ist heutzutage nicht mehr so frei, das Feld ist verschwunden. Dort ist jetzt ein Supermarkt und es werden noch mehr Häuser gebaut.
