Das Tinka Tuch schmiegt sich mit seiner speziellen Form wunderbar um die Schultern. Der erste Teil des Tuchs bis zur Lacespitze lässt sich recht einfach stricken. Nachdem man erst einmal losgestrickt hat, muss man nur vier Reihen wiederholen.
Das Tuch lässt sich in der Größe anpassen und mit einem beliebigen Garn stricken.

Sonnenfalle (Suntrap) ist eine luftige Kombination aus Zopfmuster und Lochmuster. Durch die speziellen Randmaschen (detailliert beschrieben) bleibt der Zickzack-Rand in dieser Form und die Randmaschen werden nicht zu locker oder schlingenartig.

Dieses Tuch ist von Ayane, der Hauptfigur in dem Elfen-Fantasyroman Ayane und das Geheimnis der Glückselfen von Ann-Cathrin May (meiner Tochter) inspiriert.
Durch die Tuchform im Färoer-Stil liegt es toll auf den Schultern und rutscht nicht. Man kann die Größe des Tuchs beliebig anpassen und eine oder mehrere Reihen große Schmetterlinge stricken. Ebenso kann man die Anzahl der Blumenreihen über der Spitzenkante und die Spitzenkante selbst variieren. Gerade so, wie man es mag, oder so weit, wie die Wolle reicht.

Diese Anleitung enthält sowohl Strickschriften als auch schriftliche Anleitungen für jede einzelne Reihe. Sie enthält insgesamt 39 Seiten und es wird sehr detailliert beschrieben, wie man dieses Tuch strickt. Somit ist es auch für ambitionierte Anfänger geeignet. Spezielle Maschen werden genau erklärt. Fortgeschrittene werden die Seiten 1 bis 13 mit den Strickgrafiken nutzen. Hier sind die Strickschriften in der Kästchengröße angepasst, so dass man sie ausdrucken und aneinander kleben kann.

The faeroese style shape assures that the shawl lies on the shoulders safely and will not slip down. 
The shawl can be adjusted to any size, either by knitting one or more rows of large butterflies or by increasing or decreasing the number of rows of blossoms above the lace edging. The lace edging itself can also be modified. 
So you can choose to make it just the way you’d like it or until you run out of your chosen yarn.

This pattern contains charts as well as a written pattern of the charts for every single row. It contains 35 pages in total, you find detailed instructions how to knit this shawl. So it is even suited for an ambitious beginner. Special stitches are explained. Advanced knitters might use pages 1 to 13, including the knitting charts. The squares of the charts are adjusted in size, so you can print them and glue them together. 
Beginners will find each row as a written pattern to knit the shawl stitch by stitch on the following 12 additional pages. 
On the final 10 pages, you will find the knitting charts in maximum size for standard print out paper.

Die Columbine Stola ist ganz einfach zu stricken und eignet sich daher wunderbar als erstes Lochmuster-Projekt. Könner werden diese Stola als einfaches „mindless“ Projekt nebenher zu schätzen wissen.
Das Lochmuster ist viel einfacher zu stricken als es aussieht und wird mit Fotos erklärt. Man muss nur in jeder vierten Reihe „Löcher“ stricken. Die anderen drei Reihen werden dann bis auf den seitlichen Rand einfach glatt rechts gestrickt. Dadurch ist die Stola schnell gestrickt und erfordert nicht ständig die volle Aufmerksamkeit bis zur Fertigstellung.

Man kann die Rechteckform in beliebiger Größe stricken, als Stola oder Schal. Dafür gibt es detaillierte Hinweise, die es leicht machen, die gewünschte Größe zu stricken und die richtige Garnmenge zu kaufen.

The Columbine Stole is a simple knit and as such is eminently suitable as your first lace project. Experienced knitters might consider it as a relaxing project to mindlessly knit on the side whilst making something more complex.
